Gem Faces.

I tried something new, combining the use of fine detailed hair drawing and messy but pretty ink splats. These will be up for sale in the next few weeks on my etsy store as A5 mini prints.

Final design, ink added.

Hand and Hair #2

After finishing my first hand and hair piece, I decided I would continue using this style of working, and try to get to the best possible standard I can. I created this circular hand and hair piece. I used A4 white paper and a black 0.25mm micron fine liner. This will also be up for sale on my etsy store as prints in the next few weeks.

Hands and Hair #1

My CD artwork commission fell through, but I continued the piece I was making and will now be scanning it and making prints. I was very happy with the outcome of my first really intricate piece (for a long time). You will be able to order these on my etsy web-store in the next few weeks.

New commission.

I am working on a new commission currently to create a band CD cover art. I will be creating the back and front for the CD and will be creating a logo for them also. So far I have almost completed the front cover art work.

Tutankhamun

Yesterday I had a play about with water and acrylic ink painting. I painted a black and grey Tutankhamun mask. I was pleased with the outcome for my first painting in a long time, even if it is a bit messy. Here are some pictures from my process.

Messy, but finished.
