Commission piece.

Today I started a long over-due commission piece for a relative. I am painting a black and gold Buddha using acrylic paint on a large scale canvas.

First part, the eyelid (the photograph looks brown but is actually gold and black shading).

So far so good. 

Painting.

It's been a long time since I sat down and made a proper painting. This is a vase of roses, painted in acrylic on canvas board. Hoping to get this done in the week. Will be for sake on my etsy page when it's completed!
